She most certainly hasn't had what you'd call a 'normal' life; she grew up poor, like "proper poor" as she says, in South Africa, before moving to New Zealand and becoming a comic.

In this interview, we talk about her early life, her career shift, cancel culture in comedy and her very much not accidental pregnancies with her wife that led to her two children.
