We paused this program for a while due to the sensitivity of some of the information. However, this hiatus opened the floodgates to misinformation, opinions, and assumptions, which diluted our educational resources.

Now, we feel it's time to bring "Brain Smoke" back, boldly start the conversation again, and put an end to the decline in our knowledge base. We invite everyone to join us in this effort to seek the truth and safeguard the integrity of our industry.

In this episode, "Just another crazy piece of misinformation," we dive into a recent social media post that has sparked widespread discussion but, surprisingly, lacked much critical analysis. Social media, with its love/hate dynamic, empowers anyone to say anything, regardless of its truthfulness. 

In this episode, we focus on an influencer in the Austin, Texas market with a following of 43,000, each of whom is exposed to the messages shared. 

Given the power of words, these 43,000 salons professionals are receiving information based more on assumption, opinion, and invented beliefs, which only serve to create obstacles and delays in their pursuit of accurate knowledge. Let’s imagine that only 20% of those salon professionals hear the message and tell 5 of their friends, bam you’re back to 43,000 exposures to a skewed message.
