Let’s be real…most guys in the dating world are thinking about one thing…SEX! And men from the Baby Boomer and Gen X generations were taught as children to hide their feelings. So, it’s no wonder that many midlife men are emotionally constipated when it comes to dating. They’re confused about why the women they date want to talk instead of hopping into bed.

There’s no judgment from me. Sleeping with someone is a personal decision but I suggest really knowing what type of relationship you want. Do you want a lifelong partner or a friend with benefits? I’ve said before that sexual chemistry is awesome and can lead to a lot of fun but it’s not stable enough to support a long-term relationship.
