“The majority of learning I really believe happens outside of the classroom,” says Kat Cohen. “And you have to be surrounded by people who are different from you to expand your mind.” Cohen is an independent university admissions counselor and the founder of Ivywise, an educational consulting company that is helping to demystify the college admissions experience.
