Ever loved someone that didn't love you back?! Samesies.

It sucks. It's called unrequited love and if you answered no chances are you're telling a fib, or you may still have that heartbreak ahead of you, lucky you! I say this because research says roughly 98% of the population has been on either one or both sides of an unrequited love. Hey, at least you're not alone!

The fact is, there will be times when we have strong feelings toward someone, when we imagine a life with them, when we only think about them, obsess over them and are completely preoccupied by them, only to find out that they do not feel the same way about us. This one-sided experience that can leave us feeling really shitty and feeling a lot of pain, grief, embarrassment, rejection and shame. It's shitty and confusing and it sucks. So let's unpack it.
