When you go to the hospital, there’s no knowing how much anything will cost. But President Trump’s new executive order directs the Department of Health and Human Services to create a policy requiring hospitals to be open and transparent about pricing and quality. The Trump administration’s hope is that consumers will be able to shop around for the best deal and healthcare costs will go down. Will it work? 
 
Robots Are Stealing our Jobs – or Are They?

Soon, your Uber driver will be a robot, your mechanic will be a robot, your restaurant server will be a robot, until almost all jobs are taken over by robots. At least, that’s the fear. But Brigham Young University sociology professor Eric Dahlin has found that we don’t need to be so scared of a robo-pocolypse. In fact, robots could be good for the job market in same areas.

Addressing Mid-Youth Crises with Alternative Care

Visits to the emergency department have considerably escalated for youth with a mental health crisis. One study shows that type of ER visit has gone up by more than 40% in the past decade. But emergency departments often can’t give kids and teens the help they need when it comes to mental health –that’s not what the ER has traditionally been for. That’s where Mobile Crisis Intervention Services steps in. These programs are giving youth in distress another place to turn.
