Men, I’m really excited to bring you today’s program because Stephen and I are going to provide you with some VERY practical help for understanding how to navigate between logic and emotions – and why engaging emotions is essential for maturity.
Generally, the majority of men we work with in our ministry are very comfortable when communicating logic and solving problems, but very uncomfortable and unfamiliar with communicating emotion. This often results in them becoming stunted or stuck in their relational skills, especially in marriage.
Today, Stephen and I will share with you a story of one man’s journey to get unstuck when it comes to sharing his emotions and the 2-channel system he developed to help with that process. We are hopeful that this conversation will enlighten you and give you the confidence to work on becoming more skilled in emotional sharing and listening.
