Many job seekers wonder at some point what it would be like to give up their hunt for work and become their own boss. The idea may seem far-fetched to a lot of people, but it's not as wild as they may think.

Liz Elting co-founded TransPerfect, which is the world's largest language services provider, from her dorm room in the early 90s. She is out in September with a book to help others build their own empires. The book is called Dream Big and Win: Translating Passion into Purpose and Creating a Billion-Dollar Business. She joined LinkedIn News Editor Andrew Seaman on the latest episode of Get Hired to explain what it takes to start your own business. The two also discuss how to find the gap between what clients need and what the market can currently offer.
