Is there really such a thing as ‘love at first sight’? Sometimes people will feel that way when it’s really LUST at first sight. But then there are others who know within weeks or months of meeting that they want to be exclusive or married – that THIS is ‘the one.’ My assistant was just telling me she knows two couples who were married within 4 months of meeting their spouses and those couples are now married for 17 and 27 years.

Even though these scenarios sound like a plotline from every Hallmark movie, they do sometimes happen in real life. However, don’t compare yourself to these couples. Every relationship develops at their own pace and each partner needs to be committed to making a relationship work. The important thing is to keep communication open and have those ‘radical honesty’ conversations.
