The Recruitment CEO's Insider Guide

How Andrew’s Mindset Shift Pushed His Business From Zero Income to 5-Digit Deals in Just 3 Months

Listen Later

Andrew used to be a corporate recruiter for a large company. So when he decided to jump in and start his own recruiting business, he thought he knew what he was doing. He realized that he was wrong.

There truly is a huge difference between simply being a recruiter versus running your own recruitment business. Instead of having everything in place for you, you now have to worry about running after your own clients and candidates, plus working on payroll and other administrative tasks on top of that.

Andrew soon admitted that he needed help. That’s when he discovered the Rockit program.

One of the first things he realized was that he needed a mindset change. This is a whole new ballgame, which means that he had to be fluid enough to adjust and unlearn so that he could make way for new things that would be more effective for his business.

That’s when things started to change for him. He realized that he needed to let go of his attachment to specific outcomes. He needed to take action, and the outcomes would come on their own. He also realized that he was slowly shifting from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset. This paved the way for his numbers to grow. From 0 income, he started closing deals worth 3k, then 6k, then eventually closed a 15k deal with another one worth 22k in the pipeline – all within 3 months.

Tune in to this episode to discover how a simple mindset shift can turn your business around from zero income to a 5-digit income and more.

“Instead of saying when I have ‘x’ I’ll do ‘y’, it’s very important for me to realize that actually if you do ‘x’ now, ‘y’ will happen.” - Andrew O'Callaghan
