I'm here for you. I'm listening.
I know that life can be tough. There are always going to be challenges and obstacles in our way. But it's important to remember that you're not alone. We all go through tough times. And we all have the power to overcome them.
One of the biggest challenges we face is the "should's." We all have a list of things we think we "should" be doing. We should be working harder. We should be making more money. We should be in a better relationship. We should be thinner. We should be happier.
But the truth is, we can't always live up to our own expectations. And that's okay. It's okay to not be perfect. It's okay to make mistakes. It's okay to not have it all figured out.
The most important thing is to be kind to yourself. Forgive yourself for your mistakes. And don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
I'm here for you. I'm listening. And I know that you're not alone.
Here are some tips for dealing with the "should's":
Remember, you're not alone. We all go through tough times. And we all have the power to overcome them.
In this episode I explore the parts of the Self to better understand our human condition.
How long do we sit and look at the past ? As long as it takes. I was thinking yesterday how these last 5 months have shaped me more and I feel grateful to explore the possibilities and of being “alone”. I can’t imagine relationship hopping anymore, dragging old stuff into the new, no intention and just the mess that it creates internally. Have I done this yes? SO i feel I can speak on it now knowing the other way. Without looking, you can’t see and learn the lessons and also it's harming to yourself and another person. It speaks so opposite of mindfulness and meditation when we hop to avoid feelings. After this episode, you will know more about exploring the different parts of yourself, why it’s okay to do so, what meditation brings to this exploration and how you can do it yourself. This episode was an honor to create. Meet my friend Danielle Laurent. She grew up in a small town in Northern California, and life took her abroad to where she now resides in England. You will really want to hear her story how she began mindfulness and meditation and I know that you will resonate with her sharing. he does a lot of the heavy lifting for us to day to get more clarity in our own lives.
Making in a mindful way helped Danielle to reconnect to herself and begin to heal her anxiety.
Using this experience to help others, Danielle created Making Blue Sky, which is about bringing creativity and mindfulness together with a touch of wonder, to help others find their inner calm and return home to themselves.
Coming this summer, Making Blue Sky will be releasing Kindfulness Card Kits. Stitch mindfully for yourself then send some kindness to someone else. To learn more you can find Danielle on Instagram @makingbluesky.
Takeaways with Danielle
Here is a brief episode on how to find respect within yourself through integrity and hearing what the universe wants to share with you. You will find confirmation on the lips of others and learn how to trust yourself.

The question keeps popping up- how do I really do this? The answer is get through those first 30 seconds of resistance. When I taught yoga, the hardest part wasn't participating in class, it was getting to class.
The same goes for meditation. The hardest part will be making yourself practice. Here I chat a little bit more about how to get to "the mat" and give you a small meditation at the end to practice awareness and staying in your body, not your head.

My interview today is with Jennifer Legra from Drinking the whole bottle is going to be a real treat that is fun, light hearted with a splash of real life depth that leaves you wanting more. She has this uncanny ability to make you feel so welcome and to help you see how to appreciate the present moment and of course to celebrate it. In my humble opinion, she brings life to meditation in action and paints the picture for us here today. You can find more about Jen on instagram at drinking the whole bottle and read more on her world renowned blog, @ www.drinkingthewholebottle.com. Get ready to have some fun in this episode. Without any further ado- Jen.
Takeaways with Jen:
Did you know that the statistics for divorce show that 50% of all marriages end in divorce? 60 % of all second marriages end in divorce and 75% of all third marriages end in divorce.
These numbers don't include all of the dating heartbreak that happens, how it changes us and how we can heal from it. Statistics show also that most people get back with their ex, but it's hard to identify if that really worked out or not. The most important things to do after heartbreak are to identify for yourself how to reground, define what you value in this new space, thank the relationship for its lesson and move forward until it's not a thing anymore.
In this episode I explore my own relationship with heartbreak, identify my new needs and this ends with a healing 5 min-ish meditation.

I absolutely loved this conversation with Lina Aristizabel-Villa. She has dedicated her life to becoming a conscious parent and defining that for her and now she’s here to share what that looks like and why we should consider taking this path for ourselves as well. Lina is a Social Scientist from the University of Sussex a leading research-intensive university in England, UK. She also holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina where she specialized in Operations and earned a Six Sigma certification.
She has spent the last 2 decades researching the link between society and human behavior and thus, understanding how and why people behave the way they do as individuals and groups. Lina moved from the UK to the USA where she has held a corporate career developing and integrating software to improve processes through automation.
Lina lives in Los Angeles with her husband Frank, their 2 children Nico and Isa, and their 2 Australian Shepherds Osa and Bronco.
Her children are first-generation Americans and she has made her life's purpose to raise them confident and free, which lead to creating @ItakesaVilla as a way to speak, write and spread the conscious parenting philosophy.
This is her mission for conscious parenting and for parents to really get to know themselves so that they can craft they way they want to parent. You’re gonna want to listen to this multiple times, take notes and hold your hand to your heart to heal any shame you might feel from “doing it wrong”. This episode is dedicated to my own mother. Thank you for your grace and your sacrifice so that I may live this life in my full expression. Let's go.
Takeaways with Lina:
Did you get something out of this episode? If you did please share with a parent out there that could really use this episode.
@Itakesavilla is based on the African proverb it takes a village. We help each other and raise children together.
1. All the problems and all the solutions are inside you.
2. We all hit rock bottom and thats the beauty in it. All ideas happen out of a lot of pain.
3. You decide and have a choice to change.
4. BE-ing is a place of inquiry of who your kids are. If you don’t do that you start crushing them.
5. Look at your kid and ask what are you teaching me.
6. Have humility for your mistakes and own them.
7. Meditation allows you to sit with the ugly and create that resilience.
8. It doesn’t matter what they do. Its there well being thats important to us. nothing else.
