My guest today is internationally acclaimed meditation teacher, speaker, and author Light Watkins.

I’ve been looking forward to this conversation for a really long time having followed Light’s work for a while now. I think you’ll agree with me that he has an incredibly calming and grounding energy that I hope in turn helps you feel those qualities while you listen.

Light explains how he committed to sending out a daily dose of inspiration everyday to his email list beginning from 2016. Some of those emails have now come together in Light’s new book, Knowing Where to Look, 108 daily doses of inspiration.

We talk about the power of consistency and what it took to send out a daily email like that. And also how it is possible to find inspiration wherever we look. Light shares how we can all find inspiration just by training ourselves to look for it. I talk about that a lot, that what we focus on gets bigger. This isn’t about ignoring those challenging feelings and the hard stuff at all. We have to process that. We just also need to be able to hold the duality of focusing on what is good as well.
