This episode is something special, and it’s going to hit close to home for a lot of us. It’s inspired by a friend and my own life, and I bet you'll see a bit of your story in it too.
Have you ever felt invisible? Like, you’re doing everything right, being kind to people, but still, nobody seems to notice or care? Ever felt like you had to prove your worth over and over again, just to feel loved or accepted?
It’s like you’re shouting into the void, giving your all in relationships, work, or business, and getting nothing back. If you’ve been there, feeling rejected and unappreciated, I want you to think about that experience.
Remember how awful it felt? The pain, the hurt, feeling dumb and unworthy? You might've found yourself trapped in a never-ending cycle, desperately seeking validation and approval from others, believing it was the only path to happiness. It's exhausting, right?
Now, think about this: why are we giving other people so much power over our worth?
Sometimes our parents and their parents before them didn’t know how to give us what we needed because they didn’t have it themselves. Maybe you felt ignored as a kid, or grew up without the support and encouragement you needed. It’s this cycle of generational trauma.
But here’s the thing: we can break that cycle.
This episode is all about finding the strength within, doing the work to understand our past, our parents, and breaking free from those shackles holding us back.
Because, when we stop seeking validation from others, and start validating ourselves, that’s when the magic happens.
When we don’t feel the love and support we think we deserve, it’s not a sign that we are less. It’s a sign that we need to stop giving our power away, and start believing in ourselves.
So, dive into this episode as I talk about feeling hurt when you don’t receive the love that you believe you deserve and how to overcome it.
Let’s turn our pain into our greatest strength!
