Episode 130 features Matt Marshall of Flexport and Cyndi Lago of Capgemini. Matt Marshall joined Flexport in San Francisco in 2017 and is currently a Senior Director and General Manager for the Southeast Region based in the Atlanta office, which opened in June 2017 and has since grown to more than 100 employees. Atlanta has become a critical area for Flexport to service many enterprise-level clients, such as Georgia Pacific. Prior to joining Flexport, Matt worked for Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy & Operations practice in New York where he advised Enterprise clients on supply chain strategy, network optimization, procurement, and logistics. Matt has a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an MBA in Strategy & Finance from Penn State University. Cyndi Lago serves as Vice President for Supply Chain for Capgemini. She has over 25 years of experience including industry experience, consulting, and software implementation. Cyndi’s focus throughout her career is developing innovated solutions that meet the clients’ business requirements. Provided strategy and implementation services to clients to support their initiatives looking across the landscape to assist in developing a solution that solves the business tasks but integrates and takes them forward. Industry experience spans across CPRD including product procurement, manufacturing, distribution that including capabilities across Marketing and Supply Chain. Consulting experience includes current /future state assessments; business process design and improvement; retail system selections, program management, training and communication; and change management. Prior to joining Capgemini, Cyndi owned and operated a 3rd Party Logistics company focused on the consumer products sector servicing all of North America.
