One of the best parts of my job is recording this podcast each week, and today is extra special because I have two amazing students sharing how to make more money as a teacher. If you've ever wondered how to make extra money as a teacher or "How do teachers make extra money," my two guests are going to tell you what they did and how they did it. Friends, meet Liz Puma and Sarah Takacs, two students from inside Level One of our very own CEO Teacher® school. Not only will Liz and Sarah tell you what their lives were like as classroom teachers, they'll also share their experiences with Teachers pay Teachers, their teacher side hustles, and so much more.
The CEO Teacher® School: how to make more money as a teacher than you ever thought possibleI am thrilled to highlight these two amazing students. First of all, Liz began her career as a 4th and 5th grade teacher in Vermont. After 7 years in the classroom, she transitioned to the world of Educational Technology. Liz was first a Professional Development Trainer, then an Instructional Coach and now a Curriculum Consultant. Plus, Liz is the founder and author of the blog and TPT Store, Vocabulicious: An upper elementary teacher's guide to creating a word conscious classroom. Secondly, Sarah is a nature-loving, pilates guru from Virigina who is a mama of 2 boys and a writer at heart. Over the last 20 years, she has bounced around from 3rd grade teacher…to elementary librarian…to virtual writing tutor. Today, Sarah balances working on her TpT store with teaching essay writing to 2nd through 5th graders. Most of all, both Liz and Sarah know how to make more money as a teacher. So if you're ready to hear ways to make extra money as a teacher, press play to get started on your first lesson…
