Kevin and I discuss some do's and don'ts of parenting, when your children become adults and start making their own decisions.  It can be difficult but also such an amazing feeling to connect with your children in a new way.  We give experiences we have had - we have 2 daughters who have moved out of the house and are learning to ADULT.  Kevin somehow uses one of his favorite movies- Tommy Boy- as an analogy of what could be helpful. There isn't a right and wrong way of parenting, it is just figuring out what is YOUR way that works best for you.  I always say if I am not feeling love or connection I need to start thinking a different thought so I can get to those feelings. Let's be honest,  love and connection is what we want to feel with our kids. You can do it!
