How to Run an Ultra, Even With No Running Background with Christie Brinker

Is it possible to run an ultramarathon with no prior background as a runner? Absolutely.

And our guest today proves that - as she went from no running or endurance background and 100+ pounds obese to finishing multiple 50Ks in the top 10, completing the Leadville 100M Mountain Bike Race, and finishing her first 50 miler recently!

You’ll hear from Christie Brinker on how she was able to transform her life through running, and what were the biggest keys to her success to go from non-runner to runner, while continuing to stay on the path consistently throughout her life.

We chat about the most important mindset to have when training for an ultra, what key training strategies that are needed to make massive progress, misconceptions about training that people should avoid, and how to put together a plan that gets you ready for an ultramarathon.
