Hugh Dawson (T: @HPJDAWSON, I: @hpjdawson) grew up on a relatively small hobby farm in the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. He had nothing to do with the live export chain until he decided to partake in a gap year on a cattle station in the Northern Territory after finishing school. Currently he is onto his 5th year working as the Head Stockman on Beetaloo Station. He believes it is crucial for us as young industry representatives to share the story of the live export chain to ensure we can continue to improve animal welfare standards globally.
