Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is the general term used to describe two diseases - Crohn's diseases and ulcerative colitis. It is described as a chronic inflammation (pain and swelling) in the intestines. However, there are times that people with IBD gets misdiagnosed of having IBS and vice versa.  Also, what is the main difference between ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease?
