Welcome to the final episode of February! This month, we set a goal to build a journaling habit that fosters a better relationship with ourselves. If you're new to the podcast, start at the first February episode to catch up on setting this goal with Amy.

Use these prompts whenever you need to challenge the eating disorder voice:

  1. What am I feeling right now, and where do I feel it in my body?
    (Describe your emotions and any physical sensations. Acknowledge them without judgment.)
  2. What triggered these thoughts or urges?
    (Was it something I saw, heard, or thought? How can I respond to this trigger with self-compassion?)
  3. What do I need in this moment to take care of myself?
    (List three things that could comfort or ground you, like talking to a friend, deep breathing, or eating a nourishing meal.)
  4. If my best friend were feeling this way, what would I say to them?
    (Write a letter to yourself as if you were supporting a loved one.)
  5. What is one thing my body does for me that I am grateful for today?
    (Shift your focus to appreciation—maybe your body carried you through a hard day, let you laugh, or gave you energy to do something you love.)
