Mardi Ritchie is a notable spa therapist, musician and songwriter well known for her holistic approach to skincare and integration of sound therapy in her treatments. With extensive experience in the beauty industry and a background in music, Mardi has pioneered a unique approach that combines touch, sound and scent to create transformative experiences for her clients.

Mardi is the owner & founder of Chakana - a stunning day spa we have here in my local town of Avalon - but it’s not like any others I’ve ever been to. With a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and the healing power of sonics, Mardi weaves sound therapy into each of her sensory spa journeys to create multi-layered, transformative experiences. 

I’ve done a bit of sound healing & sound therapy in my time and it’s something that has a profound effect on me - so I’ve been looking forward to sitting down with the gorgeous Mardi to talk more about things like sonic anatomy and sound resonating chambers - terms I’d never heard of before I started to do the research in this space. This is a wonderfully unique conversation about such a different topic - I hope you love it!
