On the one hand, "Jewish cuisine" or "Jewish food" is difficult to define, because it is influenced by the foods in the many countries where Jews have emigrated to, and it's as diverse and adaptive as the Jewish people themselves.  On the other hand, there is indeed something we can call "Jewish food," characterized by a rich tapestry of flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques, and influenced by the dietary laws and culinary traditions found in Jewish religious texts.
