It’s not all glitz and glamour! Being us can be hard and we have to do a lot of crap occasionally…. including one time Amanda had to go to an old folks home…. Hilarity ensued!

Welcome to 2007!

We discover our show’s been around longer than the iPhone, and obviously we’ve created just as much impact around the world.

Being on radio means we get a lot of feedback…. sometimes good, sometimes bad, sometimes…. strange. We’ll take you through what various people thought of our show in 2007.

PSA: If your name is Laura, and you’re about 35- get back in touch! Jonesy wants to hear from you.

We’re too old and disinterested for radio stunts now…. but we re-live some of the good (and bad!) ones. We also dish out some good advice: ‘don’t p-off the press’ … like an old boss of ours did, and it didn’t end well!

The media industry is cut throat, and not for the faint hearted. Every single TV personality you know of has a story where they were told ‘it was a lock’ only to be left disheartened.

We take you behind the scenes of what it can be like, and what you take away from it. This was also the year Amanda danced on national TV for Dancing with the Stars while looking after two young children and working breakfast radio.

This episode has everything - Amanda accidentally causes a scene with the press, Jennifer Aniston’s leg hair, Harrison Ford’s pit stains, ‘Lick-a-dick-a-day’, Wolfman Jack and idiot millennials.
