Jumping In An Elevator

Today I'm talking about idiotic app features starting with the evil evil evil Tiktok feature knows as "people you may know". I also touch on the Omnitrixification of Tron Ares, Jade's album and Slayyyter's new single yayyyyyyyyyyyyy

We've had an earth-shattering event in the MMCU: The mum gelato incident. I tell that 1 minute story in 10 minutes (my special talent) and then unpack some of the pop culture happenings from the last couple months  - The Life of a Showgirl, Am I the Drama, and so much more....

Hey guyssssss for this ep I'm joined by ultra talented friend of the pod Mallrat whose new album 'Light hit my face like a straight right' comes out today! The chat is saurrrr much fun and Grace gives us such good insight into the process of making an album. We do a track by track analysis of the project, talk about finding inspiration, being proud of your work, the Scooby Doo ride, Iggy Azalea, sampling Memphis rap and so much more. Yayyyyyyy music

It's awards season and everyone is talking about the most important ones - the MMCU AWARDS. This is so serious. Over the next 72 minutes I will be covered the best (and worst) of the year across a delicious set of categories. Strap in.

In light of Eflop Crust's antics over at the bird app I'm going through my likes and let me tell you... there are some absolute BANGERS in there. Shoutout to my Brazilioomfs, this one is for you. This episode also covers some new and crucial MMCU lore: CROWGATE and UBERCRASHMISSEDPLANEGATE. Wow.

There needs to be a federal inquiry into the Billboard charts girls.... what is going on.... After perusing some of the Billboard charts (SOME not ALL because I am not paying $14 a month to look at an emerging artist chart girl please) I also have a look at the MOST important chart of all - my personal streamings statistics of the last 30 days xx
This episode also includes topics such as: my vitamin C consumption era, poorly disclosed ads, streaming artists vs playlist artists and saurrrr much more

Brat summer this, brat summer that... why is no one talking about brat winter...
This episode covers topics such as: meeting Charli XCX, falling off the Eurostar, the negative 500 degree (celsius) Melbourne winter, the 2024 Paris Olympics, my chemical lip scar and my potentially-temporary-potentially-not Tiktok hiatus.

WE HAVE TO GO BACK!
Against all odds Jakeb and I went back to Italy and lived to tell the tale. Yes that's right -  it's the Italian Tour 2024 Reloaded The Re-Up Celebration World Tour Extravaganza. I cannot explain how ridiculous this trip was..... there was: a dumping, lost underwear, royal spottings, broken suitcases, Nicki Minaj in jail AND SO MUCH MORE.

Literally no one saw this coming - I have uploaded a new episode exactly one week after the previous episode. Very SCARY, very UNFORSEEN, very AMBITIOUS scenes. This time I'm joined by one of my iconic besties, Vanessa, who has actually appeared on my Youtube channel before when I was scandalously in my movie review era!! We reviewed Suburbicon (2017) which in hindsight is so fkn funny because WHY that movie - I fear we were literally the only people to see it opening weekend...

Anyway I was verrrrry excited to get Vanessa on the podcast, she's one of my funniest and most stylish friends and also has an encyclopaedic knowledge of Real Housewives and Ariana Grande b-sides - chrewly a thriple threat!!

Some other topics covered this episodes:

- Jen Shah's DHGate dupes

- The lying tiktok vintage shoppers

- Italian Tour (TM) Jakeb's 16 trillion dollar Netflix hat

- Why I won't go on reality tv

- Style trends babe x
