Coming in with a passionate short and sweet solo episode.
It’s not a bad sign if it doesn’t instantly take off for you
Or if the clarity doesn’t instantly hit when you ask the question
Or if the next step doesn’t instantly feel clear or safe
Or if you don’t master something instantly you aren’t ever going to be good at it
This is your initiation
I feel like this space has created this idea that if something doesn’t take off INSTANTLY it is unaligned.
Then we start to think that maybe it’s the wrong idea or bad decision, comparing to people we assume it was “easy” for. As though they must have been an overnight hit. But often that is the exception not the rule.
I think it is dangerous to make this scenario the norm because then when we try something new and that ~doesn’t~ happen, then we think something is wrong.
When in reality, real lasting success usually takes time, patience, practice & consistently showing up.
Just because your progress may feel slower doesn’t mean you’re on the wrong path.
We can put so much pressure on the launch & place a high expectation that people will come swarming in. But really, once you launch THEN the work starts. You need to create your community. That’s when you start showing up despite the doubt, imposter syndrome or unsureness.
People are smart these days, they need to be able to trust you and your business. This takes time, repetition, and relationship creation. The classic rule of 7 - people need to connect with your offering at least 7 times before they invest. People need to see how what you offer will benefit them & that takes time to develop.
Don’t compare your day one to someone else’s day 1000. Everyone’s journey is unique, and the timing will differ. Your business, skills & confidence will grow with experience. It’s all part of the process.
If you’re feeling disheartened because things aren’t moving as quickly as you’d like, take a step back and look at how far you’ve come. Notice where you may be needing to move through an initiation of some kind - maybe being more visible or showing up in a bigger way.
Keep going. Don’t burn it all down because you didn’t see instant results. I am so glad I didn’t. Your future self will thank you for not giving up..
