Daniel is a First Responder who had issues with anger & extra weight. He felt that both of these problems put he and his team at risk so he resolved to change. Daniel found Vinnie Tortorich's No Sugars, No Grains (NSNG) and learned that weight loss and mental balance could be achieved by removing carbohydrate from his diet. He also incorporates a strict training routine. Now he is lean, not mean, and ready to serve his family & his community.

(Robyn) Our 1st guest tonight is our cohost, Scott King. Scott has been #NSNG since 2018. In that time, he has lost a significant amount of weight. He has gone from being unable to walk short distances to a triathlete. Now he has set his sights on a much bigger goal.

Scott details his gastric bypass surgery, weight loss and subsequent weight gain. Then he outlines how he changed his diet and lost 300lbs without the need for a second gastric bypass. Now he is training for an Ironman.
