As our team is onsite for GROW! 2025 this week, Marty shares his tips for making the most of industry events by prioritizing the take-aways you'll implement, having a growth mindset, and getting your team onboard for changes.

  • Prioritize and Organize Tasks: Use a structured approach like 'bracketology' to prioritize tasks. Write all tasks down, sort them by importance, and focus on completing the top priorities first.
  • Be Realistic and Mindful of Your Team: Avoid overwhelming your team with too many ideas at once. Understand that they can only handle so much, and focus on what's realistically achievable.
  • Keep Goals Front and Center: Always keep your goals visible and regularly review them. This includes maintaining a prioritized to-do list and having reminders in place to ensure you stay on track.
  • Delegate and Develop Leaders: Delegate tasks to the right people, not just those with time. This helps in developing leadership skills within your team and ensures tasks are handled efficiently.
  • Celebrate Successes: Reward yourself and your team for achieving goals. Celebrating successes helps in maintaining morale and reinforcing the behaviors you want to see in your organization.
