This week, Arthur and Donal try their hand at one of their lifelong dreams: hosting the Eurovision. How did it go? Well... let’s just say there were a few hiccups. From jumbled scripts to Arthur absolutely losing it over Donal’s serious “TV voice,” the ambition is real, but so is the chaos. Eurovision 2027? Never say never. But maybe with an autocue.

Then it’s on to the trials, triumphs, and total meltdowns of travelling with kids. Cancelled flights, forgotten milk, and zero relaxation, they’ve been through it all. But as they’ll tell you, even when it’s mayhem, it’s (usually) worth it in the end.

And finally, van life gets a look-in. Donal’s been living the dream in Connemara with the family in a campervan, while Arthur can’t quite understand why you can’t just pull up anywhere and call it a night. Still, he’s got his sights set on something even bigger… an RV road trip. Where to? He’s not sure. But as he says, never say never.

In this episode, we're diving into some of our favourite moments. From viral chaos to absolute confusion, and a few that were very much lost in translation.

First up, the now-legendary tale of “Arthur Peter”... or wait, was it Arthur Pita? Arthur says the name so many times you’ll lose count, and so did we. After enough laughter to derail the entire story, we’re still not exactly sure what happened to Arthur Pita, but we promise it was important at the time.

Then there’s Donal’s big moment at the Bloom Festival, where a baking mishap almost went from 0 to viral disaster. Thankfully, no harm done… except maybe to Donal’s dignity.

Things don’t get any less chaotic when a chat about Coachella leads to an identity crisis over Blackpink, or as Donal insists, Black Pig. Arthur tries his best to bring Donal into the cultural now, but Donal’s still out here living in 2007.

Somehow, we also manage to consider whether Arthur could replace Joe Duffy on Liveline (spoiler: unlikely), especially after a moment of deep confusion involving a slice pan and something we literally can’t elaborate on here.

Episode 11: Festivals, Salt Pigs, The Corrs

Arthur and Donal are back… and this time, they’re broadcasting from a hotel room, not a studio. Why? Because Donal is knee-deep in filming the new season of Real Time Recipes. 

In this laugh-out-loud episode, the lads unpack the highs and lows of hotel living, filming schedules, and the eternal rivalry between North Side and South Side living in Dublin. Arthur’s just wrapped up his 30-day challenge and now it’s Donal’s turn to face the music, or in this case, host the long-promised barbecue bash. Will he deliver, or will he try to distract us all with talk of his latest obsession: pottery?

Yes, folks, Donal is fully leaning into his midlife crisis, complete with a growing collection of ceramic mugs and a very confusing object called a salt pig. (No pigs were harmed in the making of this episode.)
