One of the most vulnerable populations of people being sucked into MLM schemes are students, naïve, eager and looking for opportunity everywhere. That's how Ance Vanaga found herself in strange country at the age of 18, going door to door selling books for Southwestern Advantage, maybe the oldest MLM company we've found so far. When I first saw the work this woman was doing, I was impressed and in awe of her ambition. Not only was Blanca reaching a new audience, she was doing it in a different language. MLM's and the health claims they repeat are dangerous, but often times we aren't really sure why. We place our faith and health in the hands of product reps who make illegal claims to get you to sign on the dotted line, but what could go wrong? I often get a lot of questions about the efficacy of essential oils as a natural health alternative, and so I asked my friend Kayla to come share her journey with that exact thing.
