LIVE CHECK IN Q&A #15

Listen Later

We tackle some awesome questions this week from the legends in the PTMA community.

Want to transform your business over the next few months? Get a greater understanding and and be able to apply; marketing, focused goals, onboarding prospects and clients, prescribing the right program, understand the right pricing, give yourself bullet proof non negotiables, learn how bridge the gap between marketing and sales, manage your time for better return and work/life balance? etc ....

>>>>The PT Business Transformation Program starts 10th May. We keep the group small and focused so you feel like you're getting 1-2-1 feedback and support. Go to http://ptmentoracademy.com/ to secure your place.

Questions covered this week;

Any advice when switching a client who was in a deficit to a bulk? Sorry I know we don’t normally ask questions like this

With 1-2-1 clients, would you generally suggest setting them up with a direct debit and would you do that for monthly payments or weekly etc?

Sending out for the first time the client feedback form next week with the last question about a referral. Should i put a incentive for a referral? Ideas what that could be.

So I did an online program and I videod myself doing all the workouts which I thought was time consuming would you lads recommend doing the workout programming on My pt hub to save time!

Looking at instagram performance, should I take low performing posts (likes) to mean the audience isn't taking value? Tends to be more educational posts, that aren't in video format. Should this influence content going forward, or keep the variety?

Any ideas / incentives on how to create interest for people doing group lifting into 1-1 / hybrid coaching. For context, I am only paid as an instructor for the group sessions but a lot of the people doing the classes are not very experienced and need extra support.

Sorry for the massive essay. I haven't asked a question in a few weeks so this is me making up for it.

I review my online clients programmes once a month and like to make changes based off their goals and feedback (from check ins & monthly reviews). However oftentimes they don't give me much to go off of, for example they'll just say that everything is going fine and they're happy to do whatever I put in their plan.

None of them are currently tracking anything about their sessions, and because I'm online I feel as if I don't actually know if they're doing their sessions at all. I just have to take their word for it.

I've also mentioned that they can send me technique videos for feedback, no one ever has and I haven't really pushed it on anyone so far.

The lack of feedback is an issue for me because:

- They're online gen pop clients and I basically have no idea what they're doing with their workouts. Even though I'm not coaching them F2F I still want to support them.

- I don't like changing programs just for the sake of it & would rather much prefer some input from them.

- I want to give them workouts they enjoy & want to avoid anything that they hate in order to keep adherence high.

Is there any way to get more feedback from them without being a dick?

And should I stop over thinking this and just give them a new program even when they don't offer me any feedback.

How long would you leave it before following up on/ chasing a lead?

To what degree would you apply MI when talking about nutrition/exercise during a consult? Would you use it to build out the action plan with the prospect there and then, or more so use it to pull out and identify their issues/barriers, so you then have context to coach from when they hopefully sign up?
