Kim Howerton struggled with food and her weight since she was 8 years old. Raised in the low fat diet culture of the 1980’s and 90’s, a time when we were constantly told, “Eat less and exercise more!” was the solution to all our woes. (Yeah, ok we are still told that). Her guilt and shame about her inability to follow this “simple” advice was ever present.
A member of Weight Watchers from the time she was 13, she dieted. She worked out. She was miserable, hungry and tired. And, she was overweight. College brought some short term success, but she gained the weight back plus some, which ushered her into the over 200 lbs club… where she remained a member for the next 2 decades. And then she found Keto. Go here to read her story: https://www.theketonist.com/about
