Cal, Sean, Katie and Dave speak with Andy Woods, a Belle Vue runner who is a member of the 100 Marathon Club too. With his first marathon being in 2001 at Manchester and his latest marathon was number 114 in Calgary 2022. He speaks about how he tackles so many marathons and how he trains. Andy also lets us know plans for the rest of the year and beyond.

The team announce Parkrun meetup at Oldham Parkrun, getting the runner up of Martyn Hett Memorial Trophy and an update on the Junior Athlete vouchers.  

Sean, Cal and Gav speak with Chorlton Runner Fraser MacDonald Oulds. Fraser talks about how he started running, why he loves fell races and how much his dad has been an influence on his running. Fraser also talks about his participation in other sports as a child and how an injury stopped him from competing in sports for a while. Along with running, Fraser talks about the importance of strength work as well as "plogging". 

With Dave racing and Katie sunning it up in Mexico, the guys talk about recent training and up coming races for the marathon training boys Cal and Sean. Trimpell 20 coming this Sunday, they talk about how they will be approaching the race. After Sean had a "bad" race in Tatton, the guys discuss how to deal with a bad race.

Cal, Katie, Dave and Sean speak with an East Cheshire Harrier who is making waves at the age of 17. Cementing a 17:22 at the first Sale Sizzler, and 36:50 at the Great Manchester Run 10k in May. As well as being the 2nd Lady in the Black Knight Charge in an impressive time of 38:49. Emilia talks about how she trained during lockdown, how her coaches at East Cheshire Harriers have helped with her confidence and self belief. Along with this, Emilia talks about her experience at Great Manchester Run 10k and meeting her idol Eilish McColgan. She also explains how she deals with the peer pressure from friends on her social life.

Sean, Cal, Katie and Dave speak with Hyde Village Strider, Justin Johnson. Justin has produced some great PBs in all distances this year despite drinking and partying like an 18 year old. Justin shares how his running fits in around his music, beer and shoe collection. With Justin being inspired by his parents who completed a couch to 5k called "The Stride Out Course" with Hyde Village Striders, he explains how he got into running as well as how his parents inspire him.

The team discuss how to deal with injuries, Cal and Katie give there review of the first TeemUp Summer Series Race, as well as a review of Parkrun meetup at Stamford Parkrun. Where will we go next?

Dave, Sean, Cal and Katie speak with a Stockport Harrier who has been improving his times this year with PBs over 5k to marathon. Mark confirms how to say his surname, as well as confirming his lungs assist with his running after a chat with Tony Hillier. He also talks about how Glenn Piper helped through lockdown, why he chose Stockport Harriers and if his wife knows how much a pair of Vaporflys are. Mark also explains his Strava run names.

Cal, Katie, Dave and Sean speak with the executive chairman of Quest Media, CEO of Sports Tours International and Trustee of Running Bee Foundation. Chris is the man who has been involved in bringing the Tour of Tameside back in 2013 after it stopped in 2000. Chris explains how his relationship with Dr Ron Hill developed and the story of how he first met Ron. He also explains a hot topic from last year regarding prize money, and what to expect at this years tour. Chris shows his passion and commitment to getting Tameside moving.

The team also discuss the Parkrun get together, Womens episode feedback, as well as a race review for recent races. As tour fever starts to set in, they also discuss what makes the tour so good and why people should sign up.

Sean, Dave, Katie and Cal speak with a photographer who is at most local races, who runs for Salford Metropolitan Athletic Club. Pete's brother was an international runner, whereas Pete discovered his love of running later in life. He has achieved PBS of 18:53 for 5k and 39:30 for 10k in the Vet 50 age group but is best known for his photography at running events. Pete discusses the difficulty of capturing the perfect photo as well as what challenges he has come up against when taking pictures. He also explains how he distributes his photos and how people can get their photos.

Dave, Katie, Cal and Sean speak to aHyde Village Striders, 2nd claim to Saddleworth Runners and an active member of Vegan Runners, manging Tameside Vegan Runners. Jo Edgerton will be tackling Brathay 10 Marathons in 10 Days in Windermere in May. She is also a regular park run visitor and has ran 109 park runs to date at 58 different locations, as well as volunteering 86 times! She talks about why Brathay means so much to her, as well as how she has prepared physically and mentally. Jo also discusses what strength work she does and how vital a pint of lager will be during her 10 in 10.

The team also discuss a question about warmup routines before races. Katie chats about her coming second at Strider Through the Woods, Dave and Cal tell us about their solid parkruns at South Manchester and Stretford, and Sean has his marathon right at the front of his mind.
