Dave, Katie and Cal talk with a Chorlton Runner who is also an Asics FrontRunner. Sadia Haq is a parkrun regular with over 400 parkruns. Her times are 20:31 for 5k, 41:50 for 10k, and 94:45 for half marathon. Sadia discusses how she got into running and how she became an Asics Frontrunner. She talks about her religion and how it impacts her running, especially around Ramadan. Sadia also lets us know of her weekly routine and what she plans for 2023 and beyond.

Luke and Jordan talk about sibling rivalry (if there is any), how their jobs help with their running, and how they started their running journey. Luke talks about how COVID lockdowns helped him improve, while Jordan explains how he struggled with motivation after work in the lockdowns. Sean and Katie chat about their taper, Dave explains how he fell...AGAIN, and Cal finally gets to talk about his marathon at Manchester...did he get a sub 3?

The full team are back speaking to a member of Oswestry Olympians who has represented Great Britain at the 50k European Championships and completed it in 3:21:26. Ali Lavender's PBs include 16:27 for 5k, 34:03  for 10k, 75:18 for Half and 2:38:34 for the marathon. Ali talks about how she grew up on a farm and how this helped her running. She also talks about working for Man City, how the Salomon 24 was, and how great it was to get silver in the European 50k Champs. As well as her experience as an elite at Boston Marathon.

The team talk about the last few weeks with races at Wilmslow and the Northern Road Relays. Now with tapers coming thick and fast, this is the last episode before Cal takes on Manchester Marathon, and before Sean and Katie start their taper. Gav is back recording but nothing too much to report on training and Dave has booked a race...but which one is it?

Cal, Katie and Sean speak with a Hyde Running Community runner who has some great times from starting running in 2019 at a couch to 5k. Matt Smith has PB'd consistantly in the last few year getting faster and faster. With London Marathon on his radar, he explains his goals and what he plans for London and beyond. Will he be in the Tour of Tameside? Will he PB again in London? Matt talks about his journey when he started running and what makes his get his running shoes on every day.

The team also discuss Trafford 10k now we are back together, and some news from the Tour Of Tameside shows them giving back to running clubs.

The original hosts have been given the boot and the Local Runners Podcast Ambassadors have taken over. Hayley Simpson, Michael Harris, Emilia Platt, Fraser MacDonald Oulds, Martha Tibbot, and Joe Bailey take over and do the usual announcements along with race reviews.

The ambassadors introduce themselves and let us know what they are training for. They then discuss their why for running, how obsessed they are with racing, a review of Altra Lone Peak 7, as well as their sporting inspirations and the best things about their clubs.

With the team back to full strength, they speak the owner of Run North West which is both a retail store and events company. Andrew Whittingham is also an established runner. Running for Wimslow Running club he has PBs for 5k 16:54, 10k 35:17, Half Marathon 77:13 and Marathon 2:50:07. Andrew talks all about how he got into running, his injury problems, being a Coeliac runner, and his thoughts of Parkrun. Andrew also discusses his events, how Run North West has grown, about how it is to put on such great events and the problems that come with it.

Dave gives a fitting tribute to his first coach at Altrincham AC. First ambassador to give a race review is Martha about Windy Hill Fell Race. The team also discuss with Andrew about how to fuel before long runs.
