If Oregon were to leave it's not likely they would go at it alone, and Washington may make the most sense as its "travel partner" if they were to switch conferences.

5-star QB Dante Moore has Oregon fans buzzing with a potentially looming commitment that has been tied to the Ducks. With the "dead period" of no campus visitors underway, the upcoming month of July could (hopefully) be a busy one as far as 2023 commitments go for Oregon and Dan Lanning's staff. Moore was recently in California shining brightly at the Elite 11 camp, which included completing a unique passing skill drill that many other top QB prospects (and current power 5 QBs) struggled with.

Oregon Football is going after some big-time recruits in the class of 2023, some of whom are a little newer on the Ducks' radar while others have been in their sights for some time. Riley Williams, an in-state 4-star TE who's the #1 recruit in the state of Oregon for the next recruiting cycle, falls into the latter of those two categories. Instead of visiting Eugene this weekend as had been planned, he released a top 3 final schools that did not include Oregon.

The offseason has been overwhelmingly positive where recruiting is concerned, but this piece of news might be one that gets fans' attention in a negative way. It's not ideal, but there's no reason to feel majorly concerned both from a recruiting and positional point of view--Oregon should be just fine in both areas. The evening of the day this episode drops, Oregon will be waiting for the commitment of 2023 4-star safety Tyler Turner, who's down to the Ducks and the Oklahoma Sooners.
