Some people and books believe that each gender behaves in different ways and that men and women are polar opposites. Some personality types are certainly opposites but that’s a very broad, sweeping generalization to make about all the people in the world.

The truth is, many different human behaviors are shared by each gender. Both men AND women might have the need to “recharge their batteries” after a long day of work. Some people need some time alone after socializing at a party or a work conference.
