In 1939 Joe Arridy was executed by lethal gas. However, there were a couple problems. Joe Arridy had an IQ of 46, Joe Arridy was intellectually a 6 year old, and Joe Arridy was not present at the crime he was being executed for. In this small dive Madison tells us of the horrific murder of Dorothy Drain and how Joe Arridy ended up in the gas chamber for it. This one is very sad, for the Drain family, and for Joe Arridy.

In South Toledo in 1996 18 year old Misty Fisher was shot execution style during a robbery at her job at KFC. Her murder helped solve a similar unsolved murder of Larry Loose, a 55 year old dishwasher at a restaurant in Maumee who was shot in the head during a break in. We are glad justice was able to be served for Misty Fisher and Larry Loose.

In part three Madison finally tells us about the escape. After a very hard emotional two parts, part three starts out with a breath of fresh air on the opposite end of the emotional spectrum. Amanda sees an opportunity and with several obstacles in her way achieves the impossible with her and Jocelyn. After that the adjustment to life, and the fall out of the trial is a lot.
