Mad Times With Madison

*Trigger warning, this case is about child abuse*

The Book "If You Tell" by Gregg Olson outlines the horrors that Michelle "Shelly" Knotek committed in the 1990's and early 2000's. In part one Taryn tells us about Shelly's upbringing and how she turned into the most evil mom. She created a house of horrors for her children, and then family friends came up missing which prompted a closer look.

in 2015 Fremont native Heather Bogle never returned home from her third shift job. The next day Heather was found murdered in the trunk of her own car. Her case would go unsolved for four years and involve a false conviction, the arrest of the investigator on the case, and a shocking confession.

-

Huge shout out to Heather's sister Jennifer for giving us permission to cover her case, and helping us.

Shout out to Chelsea for the recommendation!

In 2012 25 year old Ashley Biggs was delivering pizza to make extra money. She got a call to make a delivery and when she showed up it was an abandoned building and Ashley never made it back from the delivery. What did you think of this case? And what did you think of our new equipment?! Thank you all so much for your support.

This week special guest host Ashley, who you may remember from one of our most popular episodes ever (Kelly Ann Bates), joins us to tell Taryn the story of David Parker Ray and his toy box of nightmares. This is one of the hardest cases we have done so far, you have been warned. What did you think of this case?

In 1997 the Eappen Family hired Louise Woodward from Elton U.K as an Au Pair at their home in Massachusetts. February 5 Louise went to check on 8 month old Matthew Eappen and found him unresponsive. He had very labored breathing and she thought he choked on his vomit in his sleep. She called the ambulance and when Matthew arrived to the hospital, after further testing, he was found to have injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome. So what happened to Matty, and was Louise to blame? Tell us what you think!

This week Madison tells us about a serial killer from the late 60's and early 70's from Montana. He was one of the first serial killers to be caught by using offender profiling (mind hunter, criminal minds). He killed three children and one young woman all in the same county, and was officially captured because he made a bizarre move. What did you think?
