The Book "If You Tell" by Gregg Olson outlines the horrors that Michelle "Shelly" Knotek committed in the 1990's and early 2000's. In part one Taryn tells us about Shelly's upbringing and how she turned into the most evil mom. She created a house of horrors for her children, and then family friends came up missing which prompted a closer look.

in 2015 Fremont native Heather Bogle never returned home from her third shift job. The next day Heather was found murdered in the trunk of her own car. Her case would go unsolved for four years and involve a false conviction, the arrest of the investigator on the case, and a shocking confession.

In 1997 the Eappen Family hired Louise Woodward from Elton U.K as an Au Pair at their home in Massachusetts. February 5 Louise went to check on 8 month old Matthew Eappen and found him unresponsive. He had very labored breathing and she thought he choked on his vomit in his sleep. She called the ambulance and when Matthew arrived to the hospital, after further testing, he was found to have injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome.
