Garrett Phillips unsolved murder is the topic of the documentary "Who Killed Garrett Phillips" on HBO, where Taryn got her information from. In 2011, twelve year old Garrett was murdered in his apartment, but nobody else was in the apartment when the police arrived. The direction the investigation goes in is infuriating and confusing. This week Madison wanted to shed some light on an ongoing case for Black History Month. In 2008 Gregory Johnson Jr. was found hanging in his fraternity basement after a party the night before. Gregory was found in a seated position, because he was 4 inches taller than the basement he was hanging in. The police all but refused to investigate and ruled the death a suicide, despite conflicting autopsy reports, times of death, and mishandled evidence. His family is still working to get the truth, please help them in any way you can.

On May 19, 1983 Diane Downs entered the emergency room with a gunshot wound in her arm screaming that her children had been shot. She was driving home from a coworkers house when a man flagged her down in the street. When she stopped to see what he wanted, he attempted to steal her car, and then shot her children when she refused. He then tried to shoot her, but she got away with just a shot to the arm.
