Pamela meet Greggory Smart in 1986. Pamela, known as the maiden of metal on her college radio show, fell in love with Gregg’s long hair and his love of heavy metal. After the two got married when they were 23, Gregg started to change. He cut his hair, got a good job, and started spending more time with family. Pamela thought he was boring and he was basically a different person than who she fell in love with. When Gregg cheated on her Pamela drifted away from him and right into the arms of the impressionable 15 year old Billy Flynn.

In 1990 26 year old Terri Schiavo collapsed at her home with her husband Michael Schiavo. Terri suffered cardiac arrest and her brain was without oxygen for several minutes and she was diagnosed as being in a Persistent Vegetative State with no chance of improvement.
