Friendships are such an important and meaningful part of our everyday lives, but forming friendships and keeping them strong is definitely easier said than done. This week on the podcast, Trista is joined by best friends, podcasters, and authors Jenn Bane and Trin Garritano to discuss all things friendship, from how to meet new potential friends as an adult to expressing our needs and boundaries in our friendships. They answer questions from Better, Etc. listeners that range from how to create a circle of friends in a new city, how to meet friends on the internet safely (if you’re 18+), and how to disconnect from friends who bring you down. They also discuss working on feelings of jealousy in a friendship and determining if differences in values is a friendship dealbreaker. The three all agree that one saying is particularly true when it comes to the friendships in our lives: quality over quantity! We hope that today’s episode gives you some tools to help you form cherished friendships in the future and helps you strengthen your existing friendships so that life is better all-around!
