Have you ever felt like your client’s personal shopper instead of their designer? Or that you weren’t being paid enough for the amount of work you ended up doing for them?
Making clear offers for design services is a challenge most designers face.
Often we start by charging for a couple of hours of work, but the problem with that is that there’s no clear deliverable. The client doesn’t know what they’re going to get and you don’t know what you need to do.
You want an offer that is well-defined so that you know exactly what will be expected of you, how long it will take, and how much you will be paid. On the flip side, your client knows how their problem is going to be solved and they’ll be happy to say yes to your offer. I’m teaching you how to create that offer in this episode.
One of the most important things to remember is that when you get to the core of your client’s problem, that’s where your offer is. Don’t start adding in every little thing they mention; there will be opportunities to create new offers for those projects later.
If you want to create an offer that clients can’t say no to, this is for you.
