- A smaller team, when aided with technology and defined process, can be more agile and quick than a team with more moving parts.

- Technology should be implemented to aid existing processes, not as an attempt to transform a workflow.

- Never neglect the team members themselves. Effective communication between staff is a greater asset than the best technology.

- Data is essential to using other assets well.

- There is no one-size-fits-all strategic hiring plan. The only way to find and attract the best in class talent for your organization is to tailor your strategy according to the available data.

- Tech tools are not an excuse to stop professional development. Improving your own skills and the skills of your team will help you use any tools more effectively.
