Zadie is a 24 year old Solo Mama of two gorgeous girls! She is also the owner of her own photography business based in Apollo Bay & Surrounds. It could be easy to look at Zadie's current life and think it has been an easy road to the beautiful life she has created for herself and her family but it has been tough.

In her teen years Zadie became a career for her ill Mother, was helping to raise her young brothers and even sleeping with her baby brother in her room. With so much responsibility at such a tender age, naturally Zadie felt resentful, angry, depressed and eventually left home for some reprieve and independence.

Growing up Zadie was apart of a Church community and had strong friendships and relationships, that all changed when Zadie became a Mother at 17, those metaphorical doors were closed on her leaving her isolated and alone. By the time Zadie was 18 she was married with. a baby and a young stepdaughter, her dreams and desires had been put on hold and while her friends were out partying Zadie was deep in Motherhood and things in her marriage were not going well.

Cut to age 23 Zadie and her former husband had two children together and her stepdaughter and they both knew the marriage was not going to work and was over.
In this episode Zadie walks us through that process, how she transitioned into becoming a single parent and some of the confronting realities of being not only a single parent but a working parent too.
