Matthew Hayden has had an incredible career as an Aussie Cricketer but through my conversation with him, it became clear to me that that was just the start.

"Cricket always got in the way of a good tour" this is something Matthew says during our chat and it stuck with me. Although he played 568 matches and scored 119 centuries, cricket was only ever part of the journey for him. This was a warm and uplifting conversation with one of Australia’s greatest cricketers but I think the real testament to Haydos is that he is an even better human being.
