Yes you can meditate. Meditation is not just reserved for those monks in the mountains. I believe that anyone can meditate, you just need a little explanation and some guidance.
Simply put, meditation is about slowing down and doing only one thing at a time. Be present with the thing you are doing so that you can experience it fully. That is a meditation. For instance, if you're washing the dishes then don't listen to anything or watch anything while you work. Just wash the dishes. Feel the water on your hands, and the soap over the dishes. Be mindful about all your movements so that you can enjoy the process. That is a meditation. That doesn't sound too hard right?
If you can be present and mindful for 5 minutes a day then you will be a great meditator. Get started today.
