I see a lot of people thinking that starting a Substack is somehow the secret to finding new clients and making good money in your online business, but y’all should know by now that it’s never that easy. Yes, there are people making good money with that platform, but they typically already have an audience they’ve built some other way—not to mention the fact that they don’t own their shit, Substack does! If you want to monetize your emails and blogs, you absolutely can (and should!), but there are far better ways to do it.
