In the same way that history is written by the victors, the social narrative gets decided by the best storyteller. The way the story gets told changes the way that the story is received, which directly effects the outcome of any given situation. When liars, racists, or any other genre of assholes are telling the story, we get a shitty outcome. When we know this, we have a say in deciding who controls the narrative.
