It’s the last episode of 2020! In this episode, we are going to talk about reflecting. Reflecting on the year that was, and tapping right into gratitude... I’m so thrilled that you are listening to this episode as I’m actually going to have a co-host. Someone who is super special to me.
LISTEN NOW!
I'm joined by my eldest son, Ethan! We’re sharing the things we are grateful for this year despite the challenges and also, some of our wins. I know it’s been a really challenging year (to say the least), but there is still something to be grateful for. It is really important that as we approach the end of the year, we’re not approaching it from that sense of, “I can’t wait for 2020 to be over, bring on 2021!”
We should count our blessings more than we count our problems... and the end of the year is a really special time to do that.
We’re a huge fan of doing this together as a family. Karl and I always did this practice together and now that we have children, we do this gratitude practice with them as well.
Always thinking about what we are grateful for is part of having a growth mindset. We believe that it’s important to start it a really young age, to be able to look back, think reflectively and analyse how far you’ve come.
So, I encourage you to carve out some time and share what you are most grateful for. Get a piece of paper, a pen or pencil, and write down a list of things that you are thankful for.
Goal Setting For 2021
Listen to my number one planning tip for a balanced success here. If one of your goals for next year is to increase your target revenue, here’s how you can make more by doing less.
If you have a business and you want to have a place of learning and community, I highly encourage you to head on over to socialmethodsociety.com and join our waitlist. We will be opening our doors again in 2021 and we have many amazing things lined-up for our members!
