The new documentary My Father, The Healer is an amazing story of ancestral wisdom and healing generational trauma. I’m joined by Alex Lu, the subject of My Father, The Healer—a powerful new docudrama. The film
tells the story of Alex’s father, Master Li, a gifted Chinese QiGong master who grew up in the harsh realities of the Cultural Revolution in Maoist China.
Forced to hide his healing gifts, he later fled to the West, where he built a
remarkable following, helping thousands overcome terminal illness. Yet while he brought healing to so many, he struggled to face his own ancestral wounds. This is a story that begins in mystery and ultimately finds its way to healing.
