Narcissists make certain assumptions about you, as the main source of narcissistic supply. They assume that you are weak, stupid, and insignificant. They know that they are superior to everyone else and that the world is a jungle where the strong prey on the weak. They believe that they deserve everything they have and that they should be able to take whatever they want from others without consequences.

A malignant narcissist does not care about your feelings or well-being because they see you as inferior and useless. The narcissist doesn't see you as an equal human being but rather as something less than him or her - an object, a toy, or a source of supply that can be manipulated at will.

Even the most covert narcissist will try to tell you who you are. They don't want you to become something better than them (a competent human being) because then how would they be able to use you?

People with narcissistic personality disorder have a desire to sort of control everything. They want to keep you in your place so that their control over you is complete and absolute. Narcissists believe what they say over time, no matter how ridiculous it sounds, because it feels good for them to think about themselves as superior beings who deserve everything in life without having to work for it like ordinary mortals do.
